Josh’s SR400

Josh dropped off his SR for a custom hoop and a simple exhaust build.

While I was working on the hoop and pan, Josh had the wheels laced up and the Firestones fitted.

The hoop was a pretty standard affair with a slight kick in the tail. I bent it up to match the tube diameter and frame rail spacing on the bike.

Pretty sure the seat went to Aaron at Wierd-O-Pholstry for his magic. The astute viewer might notice I welded in a cover at the front of the pan. The tank mount is quite prominent. The original plan was to run the seat up the tank, hence the hump. However Aaron chopped it off to suit the slimmer cushion on the seat. I think this looks much better.

The bike has a great stance with this tyre and wheel combo.
