With the build platform “improved“, it was time to get back to work on the project. Not sure about you, but when I get started and build some momentum, I just want to keep going.
I started shooting Metalworking 2 content, and planned to start on the headlight cowl/fairing I want to do. But first, I need to mount the headlight. To do that, I need to confirm which front end I will use:
I’ve explained this in detail in the member videos. Eventually I’ve ended up making some minor mods to a steel lower triple in order to mount a 7″ headlight through the bottom. Obviously I’ve stripped the triple bare, plus I’ve sanded and filed a lot of the marks off it so the paint finish is higher quality:
